The stadium which has been known as Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, Network Associates Coliseum and McAfee Coliseum, before going back to Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, was changed to Overstock.com Coliseum in April 2011 before being renamed again, in June 2011, to O.co Coliseum. The Raiders played their first game at the Coliseum on Sept. 18, 1966.
The Oakland A's, who had moved from Kansas City, followed suit on April 17, 1968. In 1982, the Raiders left Oakland for Los Angeles. By 1995, the Raiders agreed to return to Oakland on the condition that the coliseum undergo major football-friendly renovations.
The renovation cost $120 million and included 22,000 new seats, 90 luxury suites, club levels, two new club lounges, new locker rooms, a remodeled press box, new video scoreboards and additional amenities.
Parking lots for Raiders games open five hours prior to kickoff. Guests with cars are permitted to use only one parking stall per parking fee. Parking fees are collected at parking entrance gates. Parking is limited at O.co Coliseum, so arriving early is recommended. The fee is $35 per car. Consult the Raiders parking page for additional details.
